SCACM SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The South Central Association for Clinical Microbiology (SCACM) was formed to fill the need to produce better-informed microbiologists. The goals of the association include: promoting scientific knowledge of Clinical Microbiology through communication, improving education, encouraging scientific investigation, and gaining higher recognition in the field of Clinical Microbiology. In keeping with the goals of our organization, each year SCACM will offer an award to four outstanding CLS students interested in the field of Microbiology.

These students will be nominated by the Directors or Educational Coordinators of eligible accredited programs within the 6 states of SCACM. Those chosen for the award will receive $2000.00 and all nominees will receive a paid membership in SCACM for one year. Awards are announced at the SCACM Spring Meeting.
