Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking to recruit a dynamic Manager for our Microbiology Laboratory. Our Laboratory is part of Continuum Health Partners Inc., a hospital
system consisting of 5 hospitals and ancillary patient care facilities . We are a 24/7 operation. The successful applicant is expected to participate with the current
management team to provide leadership for staff of 30 clinical scientists and will have specific responsibilities related to personnel competency, quality assurance
initiatives, budgetary compliance, and staffing needs to assure the smooth operation of the lab. Participation in hospital-wide committees will also be required.
Applicants must possess or be eligible for licensure in NY State. Supervisory experience in Microbiology is required. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Masters degree in microbiology is preferred. An MBA with a significant microbiology laboratory background will be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Pennock Hospital, located in Hastings, MI, seeks a full-time Med Tech for an upcoming Microbiology Lead Tech opening. Will be responsible for the day to day operations in Micro and performing all the functions of that area. Accountable for training, in-services and attending/participating in Infection Control committee meetings.
Successful candidates will have a Med Tech degree with specialty in Microbiology preferred, and be ASCP certified. Requires at least three years of Microbiology experience.
